Three people have been killed and at least nine others were injured in the newest assault from Ukraine on the border territory of Russia of Belgorod, as reported by regional authorities.

The deaths happened subsequent to an assault on the village of Maslova Pristan during Wednesday morning, sources confirmed. Rescue personnel were continuing to search for people suspected to be buried under wreckage.

It is the third consecutive day that Ukrainian forces have attacked the region, causing numerous residents without power and at least two other people dead.
